Cooking Method

Preparation

  • Measure the required quantity of Home Grain dhals
  • Rinse thoroughly 2-3 times to clean and soak the dhal for 30 minutes before cooking.

Open Pan

  • Fill the pan with 1 dhall : 3 water ratio and add the soaked dhal
  • Cover the dhal and let it cook for almost 30 minutes until soft . Check frequently to avoid burning

Pressure Cooker

  • Fill the cooker with 1 dhall : 3 water ratio and add the soaked dhal
  • Cook the dhal for 3 whistles or 15 minutes on medium flame. Let the pressure release completely before opening the cooker.
