Cooking Method

Preparation

  • Measure the required quantity of Home Grain dals.
  • Rinse thoroughly 2-3 times to clean and soak the dal for 30 minutes before cooking.

Open Pan

  • Fill the pan with 1 dal : 3 water ratio and add the soaked dal.
  • Cover the dal and let it cook for almost 30 minutes until soft . Check frequently to avoid burning.

Pressure Cooker

  • Fill the cooker with 1 dal : 3 water ratio and add the soaked dal.
  • Cook the dal for 3 whistles or 15 minutes on medium flame. Wait until the pressure is released before opening the cooker.
